Viajar es crecer. Es atravesar mundos y enfrentarse con soledades, descubrimientos y nuevos puntos de vista. En el caso del viaje en identidades artísticas se suma un elemento más: el cambio en la factura de obra, es decir, en los procesos y modos de producir y entender la obra artística, como un hecho estético y social.
Vivimos épocas turbulentas, donde la precariedad y la super-abundancia de información nos abruman a todos y a todas por igual. Y no hablo solo en voz de los artistas jóvenes, sino también de distintas generaciones.
“Pasajes/paisajes estéticos entre Bilbao y Buenos Aires” propone la realización de una exposición colectiva en la galería Wunsch Gallery (...) que identifique y celebre estas travesías de distintas generaciones, con artistas nacidos en Euskadi, Argentina y otras ciudades de España.
Traveling is growing. It means crossing worlds and facing solitude, discoveries, and new perspectives. In the case of traveling through artistic identities, one more element is added: the transformation in the making of the artwork—that is, in the processes and ways of producing and understanding the artistic work as both an aesthetic and social phenomenon.
We are living in turbulent times, where both precarity and the overabundance of information overwhelm all of us equally. And I speak not only on behalf of young artists but also of various generations.
“Aesthetic Passages/Landscapes between Bilbao and Buenos Aires” proposes a group exhibition at Wunsch Gallery (...) that identifies and celebrates these journeys across generations, featuring artists born in the Basque Country, Argentina, and other cities in Spain
